Today, many pundits are calling for a &quot;new capitalism&quot; suggesting China&#039;s group model is proving superior; yet similar logic praised the Japanese centrally managed model in the 1980s. 
 
Also fascinating to see how communications technology innovations continue to weaken government and other institutional structures asserting inefficient &quot;group&quot; decision-making in lieu of individual.  </description>
